Over the last 22 years as a Certified Journeyman Farrier I have learned to rotate hoof sealants, conditioners and hardeners. Limiting the application of solvents that shine and hardeners that toughen the hoof wall. Extended use of solvent based hoof coatings strip the hoof of natural occurring oils and hardeners create a hoof wall that is shelly and brittle. Rotating hoof coatings will enhance the positive attributes of each product. Honey Hooves is a dual purpose naturally medicated beeswax, with ingredients that have a history of healing the whole horse.
Honey Hooves is Handcrafted in the USA with organic beeswax, a natural conditioner and antibacterial. Australian Tea Tree Oil and Pine Tar work well together combining natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. The water repellent beeswax sticks to the hoof, filling nail holes and cracks, enabling the healing properties of pine tar and tee tree oil to effectively treat and protect problem areas of the hoof. Application is made easy with a no mess slide stick, simply twist up wax and slide over desired area. This compact container allows horse owners the option of carrying in their pocket to treat horses in the stall or in the paddock. Honey Hooves is safe for whole horse application, excellent healing of minor scrapes and wounds. |
